The Xplorer is the only commercially sold Xbox 360 guitar that came wired, rather than wireless. This made it quite the popular choice for high level players back in the day, as it was overall more reliable. The Xplorer comes with stock Xbox 360 compatibility out of the box. To make this possible, the stock motherboard is linked with the new 760 Creations motherboard. Due to this, it does not come with a separate auth port.
All 760 Creations guitars come with the following modifications unless stated otherwise:
Programmed with Santroller Builder (with proper licensing)
Powered by the RP2040 microcontroller from the Raspberry Pi Foundation
3D Printed Frets replacement with Gateron Low Profile switches (Parts designed by 760 Creations)
3D Printed Strum Bar replacement with Kailh Box Navy Switches (Parts desgined by 760 Creations)
3D Printed Whammy Bar holder piece replacement (Parts designed by Doesntfazer, modified by 760 Creations)
3D Printed Wii Joystick replacement (Parts designed by 760 Creations)
3D Printed Cable Management Pieces (Parts designed by 760 Creations and Fack3D)
3D Printed Battery Covers (Parts designed by 760 Creations and Fack3D)
3D Printed Wiimote Slot Cover (Parts designed By MrAdrianki)
Auth port for stock console compatibility options (excluding Xplorer and SG)
Restored functionality of Joystick/DPad and Home Button (in select models)
